You Can Make a Difference: Help the Oakland Food Pantry
On December 3rd, 2009, Community Human Services Corp. opened a new food pantry in south Oakland to help feed an increasing numbers of seniors, adults, families, children and local university students that are facing hunger, economic challenges and complex barriers related to growing rates of poverty, loss of jobs and rising costs of living.
The food pantry is located at 370 Lawn Street, Pittsburgh PA 15213
Donations of non-perishable items are needed to stock the food pantry. Please consider donating food from the list below:
Cereal
Peanut Butter
Rice
Pasta
Canned Soup
Canned Vegetables
Macaroni and Cheese
Manwich Sauce
Spaghetti Sauce
Tuna or Salmon in a Can
Fruit Juice in a Can
Soap and Shampoo
Laundry Soap
Cleaning Supplies
Feminine Hygiene Products
Pet Food
